Let me tell you how much I love my job.
I love it. A whole lot.
For a few hours, I get to insert myself into another family. I get to meet people I’d never otherwise meet. I get to hear their stories. I get to eat their good food (not too much of it, of course. I am on the clock afterall). I get to capture an afternoon where four generations across 2 continents and four countries meet, mingle, catch up, reminisce…
and love. Always love.
Thank you, family, for being so welcoming. I had such a wonderful afternoon.
