“Photographing important people” was apparently the theme of Sunday. Because after my fabulous shoot with the Kahlers, I headed up to North Phoenix for a sunset shoot with two women who have been in my life for a whole lotta years. Laurie and Beth have been common guests at family events forever- joining us for holidays, birthdays, graduations, weddings…

Laurie has actually been our unofficial family videographer- recording our skydiving expedition and my wedding for posterity.

So, really, it was only fitting that I got to record THEIR lives for posterity.

This beautiful desert landscape is actually the butte their house looks out on. Some girls have all the luck.
